Trading with a Turbo Account

Markets, where orders match, fees, and order types.

A Turbo Account trades spot markets with capital from o2 rather than from a deposit. Orders, positions and TP/SL work the way they already do on o2.

Markets

13 markets are available on every tier, all quoted in USDC.
MarketLongShort
wBTCYesYes
ETHYesYes
XAUTYesYes
UNI, AAVE, ONDO, LINK, ENA, WLD, FUEL, BNB, HYPE, LITYesNo

Every market can be traded long. Markets marked Short can also be shorted, so you can take a directional view in either direction. A market that is long only is labelled Long only in the app.

Shorting draws on what the Turbo pool has available to lend, so the shortable list can change. When it does, it applies to your account straight away with nothing to do on your side.

Where Turbo orders match

Each market has a Turbo order book alongside its public order book. Turbo orders match against liquidity provided by o2's house market maker and a set of whitelisted market makers. They do not match against other traders' orders on the public book.

OrderHow it fills
Market orderImmediately, against the market makers' quotes
Limit orderRests on the Turbo book and fills when a market maker's quote reaches your price
TP/SLTriggers on the Turbo book's price, then fills against the market makers' quotes

The market makers quote around the same prices as the public book, and the chart on a Turbo market shows the Turbo book's own trades.

Market makers who want to provide liquidity to Turbo traders can contact the o2 team to be whitelisted.

Position size

Your account size is what you can put to work. A $10,000 account can hold up to $10,000 of position.

There is no multiplier to set. Place the order you want and the account funds it.

Fees

Turbo books have their own fee schedule.

FeeTurbo Account
Maker0.01% (1 bp)
Taker0.025% (2.5 bps)
GasSponsored by o2

An order that rests on the book before it fills is maker, and an order that fills immediately is taker. For fees across every o2 account type, see the fee schedule.

Beyond trading fees, the premium is the only charge the product makes. There is no borrow interest and no funding rate.

Order types

Market and limit orders work in a Turbo Account, along with post-only, fill-or-kill, stop market, stop limit, and scale orders.

Take profit and stop loss

You can attach TP/SL when placing an order, or add it to a position you already hold.

Two things are worth knowing:

Protective orders reserve funds when you set them. A take-profit on a long holds the asset it will sell, and a stop on a short holds the quote it will buy with. This is why the app offers to cancel protection for you when you close a position by hand. See Closing & Settlement.

Trigger prices have to be reachable. A stop already on the wrong side of the current price would fire immediately, so the app flags it before it costs you the position.

Price bands

Every order is checked against an oracle price band, and market orders carry a slippage bound sized to that band automatically. In a fast-moving market this is what stops a fill landing far from where you expected. An order whose worst-case fill could take the account past its loss limit is refused before it is placed.
